"Election campaign gets ugly as parties trade accusations of dirty tricks"
There are many activities going down against parties. Activities such as late-night prank calls, illegal lawn-sign tamperine, and even a gay smear campaign have occured. A former liberla MP, who is now running for the New Democrats, Francois Boivin, was quiet angry after the newspaper said that "she was turfed from her old party because she helped her spouse get a Parliament hill job." This caused a big issue , everyone was accusing the Liberals for this event. MY OPINION- I think that this is all part of politics, attacking parties. Other parties try and make another party look bad in public, so the public will have second thoughts of their votes on the Liberals. At this point, the parties that aren't accused try and really connect to the people angry of the accused party. So they get their vote.
